Questions

What exactly is The Dreaming?

A private dream journal with an interpreter grounded in Jungian psychology. You record dreams by voice or text; it returns a structured reading — symbols amplified, archetypes named, the emotional movement followed — and ties the dreams together into series, a Psyche report and an Oracle that has read the whole journal.

Does The Dreaming replace therapy?

No. It is a tool for self-knowledge: a place to keep your dreams and reflect on them, with AI readings that are reflective, not clinical. It can accompany therapy guided by a professional — many people bring their dreams to the session — but it diagnoses nothing and treats nothing. If you are going through significant distress, reach out to a mental health professional. The full disclaimer is linked at the foot of every page.

Is there a free plan?

No. Every reading is produced for you, at a cost, and the product only shows its worth across many nights, not in a single free dream. The pricing page describes exactly what each plan includes, and the subscription can be cancelled at any time.

How do I pay?

By card, inside the app, as a monthly subscription in Brazilian reais. Nothing is charged before you choose a plan.

What does "Jungian" mean in practice?

The interpreter reads dreams the way analytical psychology does: as symbolic messages from the unconscious — amplifying images, naming archetypes, tracking recurring figures, and asking rather than predicting. The Prism plan adds the Freudian and Adlerian lenses so the same dream can be read three ways.

Is my dream content private?

No ads, no resale, and nothing you write trains a public model — Google and Anthropic both state that paid API data is not used for training, and we train no model of our own. What reaches the provider is the dream and the context you attach to it; your name and profile photo do not. We do not claim end-to-end encryption: the content is stored so the app can read it back to you.

Can I record by voice?

Yes — a half-asleep voice note is the intended way in. The audio is transcribed automatically and kept alongside the dream, so you can hear the recording again, not just read the transcript.

What happens to my data if I cancel?

Cancelling stops the billing and deletes nothing by itself: the journal stays where it is, and the Markdown export is always available. Erasing is a separate, deliberate act — "delete everything" removes every row that is yours, and operational backups roll over within thirty days.

Does it work inside Telegram?

The Dreaming also runs as a Telegram Mini App, with the same journal and the same account. The weekly review can be delivered there once you link the account.
